It has now been almost 3 months since I bought the Sony KDL40EX503U television and I thought I should share my experiences with the world. In this Sony KDL40EX503U Review I will discuss my experiences with the TV, and tell you the things you need to know before you buy.
I was pleased to find out that the TV was very easy to set up. Straight out of the box the instruction manual was very helpful and I had no problems at all getting the wires plugged in and set up. All of the HD Freeview technology is already included and works right away after plugging it into the aerial.
When I turned it on, I wasn’t really expecting that much. I was very surprised to see such an excellent picture. Having seen a number of HDTVs before, I was not at all expecting the picture that the Sony KDL40EX503U provides. It is is very crisp and there is no jittering or blurriness at all. On top of this, the sound is clear and projects well across the room although I now have it plugged into a surround sound system which works great.
The ability to insert removable media is very useful and we have started to use the television as an alternative to a picture frame by loading up all our holiday pictures. Having said this, I am quite disappointed that you have to buy an extra Wi-Fi dongle in order to access the online content. I think that Sony should provide this for free as many alternatives have access to the internet as standard.
Despite this, the excellent picture quality makes this television something that will literally lighten up your room. Myself and my family is very happy with this purchase.
